Violet's founding story
I'm Michael — a software engineer, and a longtime lurker in online seller communities. For years I watched indie shop owners pour everything into their craft, then lose their evenings fighting with Reels and a feed algorithm that keeps moving the goalposts.
My fiancée was one of them. She runs an Etsy shop she's quietly proud of, and she dreaded the marketing side of it. Most evenings ended with her staring at a blank caption box after a long day of making orders.
So I built her a tool. Paste a product link, and it drafts the script, picks a trend, and cuts the video. She got her evenings back, and for the first time posting actually felt easy.
